I have not gone through this entire thread but this is two that I notice. One is sometimes on the last post at the bottom of a page you get some overlap of the report a post and the thread page numbers. I am on Safari using Mac 10.6.8 See Photo 1. Screen shot 2013-04-20 at 4.05.56 AM.png opps I guess I need to get used to this new format too. :lol (Edit) = this problem I noticed this morning and that was when I took the screen shot however I did not get to post till now due to work and it seems to have been resolved. So never mind the first half of this post just don't stop reading cause the second half is still relevant. Although I guess if I keep going any longer you may just get frustrated and stop reading because you have been working really long and hard on this for a while now and you probably have read the same things over and over and over... so having said that I will stop now and let you get to the next half of this. That is if your still reading this incredibly long and stupid post. I guess really I hope your also just laughing at it now as it never seems to want to end. I think you could use a good laugh because you have been working so long and hard on this Forum upgrade which we all really appreciate.
One last thing before you read the next part. I was always really good at college papers that required a certain word count to be acceptable. ;):rolleyes:wacko:devil

The second one was when I added a photo to my album the style of the pop up window for Manage your attachments was that of the basic site (white & blue) not the new gray, which I don't mind the new gray so much although I would not mind seeing the Star Wars legacy style come back. ;)

Here is a little glitch with text alignment in Subscribed Threads.

I think the color scheme is a little hard to read. Also, the lack of color coding in the JY is kind of hard(The FS, WTB, etc...where different colors before. It looks sleek, but overall just kind of hard to read (maybe I am just getting old?)

Just a note, the pagivation overlaying the last post of a thread should be resolved.

We have also taken dr_slurpee's recommendation on correcting the overlay issue of the "share your fandom" button at the bottom of the thread list. Can someone who was having that problem verify that it is indeed resolved?

Yes Art I was having that Problem but now it is Resolved!! Now PLEASE Give us a better color than the grey...... Like the old Sight...... Lets class up the RPF like is was before!!!!!
AL

PS: I'm on a Macbook Pro. in Safari.

At minimum i would prefer BLACK color for the fonts.

This dark grey on medium and medium-light grey is painful. On a regular screen it's 'ok' but on a mat screen it's painful.

Still having to manually locate where I want to read in a thread. Am I the only one not seeing a "Go to most recent unread" button?

Just passing comments: More style choices would be nice. I miss Legacy (SW) already, partially because it allowed me to fill the entire width of my screen with the threads (text) rather than having 4 " on either side being just wasted grey space. I don't mind ads. I understand it keeps things going.

Maybe this has been brought up already, but can we bring back the ability to click the "last page" of a thread directly from the forum without first having to open up the first page of the thread?

I've looked at it for a day now and the biggest gripe I have is that on a tablet, which is the way the world is going, you have to do too much scrolling. You should be able to see the first thread without having to scroll. Also if you're half way down into the list of threads and want to change forums you have to scroll up way too far.

My favorite forum is the Rebelscum forum. It's simple and I can get right to the info. We either need to shrink the fancy animated boxes, or put the forum access below them.

^^^ Cant agree with this more :)

Also, i also am having a problem reading and looking around with the whole grey on grey color scheme (I was a big fan of the Blue/Black with white text color scheme as well :))

Its also hard to tell the different between normal text and a link without the links being highlighted in blue :D

Also, do they pages load a bit slower than before for anyone else?

Now that we have fixed the pagination and bottom "share your fandom" button, it seems like the primary concern centers around the ability to get to particular locations in a thread from the threadlist.

I am a little confused on this because at the moment:

If you click on the thread you are taken to the first post of the thread.
If you click on the icon to the left of the thread title, you are taken to the first new post of the thread (which will be different for each member).
If you click on the datestamp under Last Post By, you are taken to the very last post of the thread.

Is this simply a matter of education or is there something missing?

Color is boring. Does not make me want to spend time looking around.

I totally agree, I'm finding the all-pervasive grey very uninspiring. It's too formal, and doesn't communicate the colour, fun, or variety in this hobby.

..and like GH, I also miss the Star Wars skin and would like to see it return. Perhaps any skin with some colour in it somewhere will become available? My preference would be white text on a black/dark background, however black text on this pale grey would be an improvement.

I appreciate that it must be a tough job to overhaul this place though, so thanks for listening.

Hmmm, User CP/now Settings view is odd; thread details on the left, last post details on the right - don't line up, the last post details look like there's a couple of carriage returns. Makes the page take up too much space and harder to read. This is in Firefox...is it meant to be like that?

Misalignment noted. Added to the list.
