You are using the "Century Gothic" font as one of the main fonts, but you didn't embed it with "@font-face" (web font). You should know: that font is not a standard font in Windows or any other OS. It's part of Microsoft Office. Users which don't have that office software or didn't install "Century Gothic" themselves, don't see the correct font.

Anyone else getting a LOT of ads on the right side of the page in every single page of the website EXCEPT an open thread?

Unreadable on small screens/tablet/smartphone (not interested in the mobile version). I sure don't remember those on the previous website, maybe 1 or 2 add on the top, thats it.

This is on chrome.

It is the same on an ipad. The ads seem to take up about 1/3 of the page.

Also the subtlety between the read and unread icons is really close to each other. It would be great to see a pop of color for the unread threads, and then subdued when it was read.

Agreed on the thread thing...almost no difference in contrast for a read thread. I suspect that'll get dealt with in time though.

Wow, I just noticed that the new template seems not be responsive, I mean, smartphone a tablet friendly... in this day and age that is an unforgivable sin, sorry to say...

1) skin is way too dark, not good for the eyes!
2) In the threat lists there no longer is an indication on how many pages each threat contains; one cannot jump to the last page (for example) - only the post coloum indicates content size.
3) Threat list is squeezed bcs of right handed ad, no longer widescreen; this makes the overview even harder besides the heavy use of darkness.
The previous default skin was better i.m.o. Can it be made available again (as an additional skin/style), please?

You will find most people do not appreciate to be forced to pay for something. If i'm told 'pay to make the new layout readable' then huh no.

I was thinking of getting a 1 year membership once the update is done as a thank you, but certainly not to make the website more readable.

What about the majority of the users here that do not pay, should we tell them to stop going to the RPF on smartphones/tablets/smaller sized laptops/screens?...

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I won't have time to go through the thread before the site goes back down....

I like the changes overall but I find it more difficult to navigate and find what I want. The post list needs something to differentiate one row from another, like I've demonstrated in this gif -

The next suggestion would be to find a way to better identify post tags. Make tags like "FS" or "WTB" bolder or maybe with a hint of color. Or on the left where it has the RPF logo show a custom image for each tag? Just something.

Probably mentioned already, but in my Chrome browser the "page X of Y" is overlapped by the "report post" link in the lower left corner of the last post on a page.

Same here, after the first visit, I have to slowly read everything to differentiate… and it'll be nice to change the color of the "I posted in this thread" checked button indicator to green to visually enhance it.

Can find the premium membership area, looks funky in Chrome overall...things overlapping ( pages over rep and report)

I don't like how the header moves out of view.

I like to just go to the top of the page to switch forums without having to scroll back up

You can use the "Quick Navigation" pull-down menu on the bottom right of the last post in a thread too in order to save from scrolling up :)

So I see most of the problems I've spotted have been reported (dark text on dark, pagination overlap, etc) but I can't be the only one noticing that the user javascript someone posted ages back to make the site work in widescreen no longer works. I just don't like seeing huge dark areas of wasted space at the sides of the forum.

Hmm, I see the mobile skin works for widescreen, not to sure if I'm going to like having to use that.
Yeah, probably not a permenant solution, the avatars are way too small for a start.

Were it not so dark, I would probably not say anything, but I have to agree - the theme is WAY too dark and the light gray text is very hard on the eyes. I will say that I installed the Adblock Plus extension in Firefox and it cut out a load of the advertisements. God I hate those...

This is probably on the nitpicky side, but everytime I launch a forum page, OT, ENT, Props, Junkyard, etc, there's a huge banner at the top. When running 1920x1200 resolution I get no topics listed due to all the other stuff on the screen. Perhaps the graphics for "check this stuff out" could be substantially smaller or only on the front page?

While I don't have any troble read text on the site, I kind of like the look in the teaser pic a little more
Edit: I just realized the blue I was seeing is in ad section rather than the topics themselves, disregard and carry on...;)

i have to say i like the old junkyard better.
there is no way to shuffle from INT, FS, and WTB?!?!?
and with the titles all the same color you have to read each one just to find out if someone is selling or buying, when before you just see the colors.

Can the arrows atop the RPF logo that indicate you've posted in a thread be changed to a larger size?

They are rather difficult to see, especially with them being the same color as the logo.

For instance, take a quick glance at this and see if you instantly notice the thread I posted in:
