Let's not forget one of the things that really sells the original Robocop suit--the robotic body mechanics that Peter Weller and mime coach Moni Yakim developed. If Weller walked and moved as he does normally, it wouldn't have been nearly as memorable.

Yup, i always loved the way he swung his body around, then the head would follow, a really great series of movements that brought the character to life in such a cool way.

I like what I see so far. You can't judge to much from crappy behind the scenes photos. What matters is how that movie camera sees that suit.

Yes they did. I was commenting to my GF the other day (much to her dismay) how his movements were part of what made him such a brilliant choice. that level of dedication really sold the character and makes you feel like it's not a guy in a suit at all.

I just figured it out.

The new Robocop is no different than the robot Ninja in one of the sequels. It's meant to be fast and slim.

The sequels sucked balls too.
