New Predator Pepakura Armour ready for download

Hi I am Movieman

I am new to this forum, I am a big Pepakura user.... I have created and unfolded 100's of items... some I have created myself and others I have found trawling through the internet and unfolded because no one else has done it yet.

During one of my hunts I found some Predator armour, which I have been unfolding overtime... and still working on it, some of it can be a little complex for the novice to attempt.... but all well worth the time to build.... I have just about everything to build and fit out a full Predator costume including new Bio helmet, throwing disc and spear. The armour I have is for the shoulders, crotch, ankles, wrist, chest and shoulder weapon. I have built some of it, and hence the scale is I believe is correct. There are a few problems with the wrist 3d Graphics which could be by passed during the building process and a bit of building skill.... as I found these items and did not create them, credit belongs to that person whom ever they are, the unfold has been done by me.

I have uploaded the items I have built so far and they fit lovely at the scale I set.

3D pictures of items done so far are below.

And here is another version predator Bio helmet which was unfolded by someone called "bollomonkey"

Scale not set by me, but guess it is not far off correct.

Ok version 1 chest armour is ready, little complex. the grey area at the rear is where you attach the backpack, may need a little winging in a few places, but well worth it. I think this chest unit is based on the hero predator in AVP 1. This is set to fit me, 44 inch chest, X-large, I set this to 28 to fit me, reduce to 26 for medium size. Also you may choose not to build the inner part of chest armour for speed, as it is not required.

I do hope this will be of help to anyone on this forum.

NONE of these links work do u have a working link?

Very nice! It's now tempting to papercraft my way into my first armor set. Have you guys been coating the finished items with anything for that extra protection? And I'm assuming most of us are using cardstock.

yea usually coat with fiberglass resin and reinforce with more fiberglass resin and cloth or you can mix up some rhondo and slush the inside with it ,makes a nice hard shell
,thats what i did on my wolf bio just sculpted some teeth for it and prepping it for moulding , and you can also slush some smoothcast plastic on the inside

Thanks Jjack. After I give it that nice fiberglass shell, I'll probably bondo it up so everything in nice and smooth and I avoid those paper creases. I'm gonna try this out on a few pieces (maybe a bio or a guantlet) before I decide to go all out with it.

i give a minimum of 3 coats from the outside, for the inside one coat resin and one coat with fiberglass thin mat, you can check my threads on the armor forum :)

Does anyone have any pictures of their backpacks or chest armor????

I would also like to see Some pictures of movie man's gonttlets
