first off my bio's off to ya awsome work i love working in pepakura its my own little therapy lol im trying to learn how to designe and make and unfold these models also still in the learning process but i had a question i tried to download the alien head and it didnt work id love to attempt this beast your pic looked awsome if you could point me inthe direction on how to get this file would be greatly appreciated

Movieman Can you tell me The scale that had you use in the unfolded of the alien head (xenomorph) i HaveA file Little Closer To your Model i think the Scale works to me too.

I'll tried the backpack but couldnt get this paper stuff togehter...
The measurements did not work for me, the whole thing is looking way to small.
Upscaling was to complicated, because of the paper size and getting the pappers on different paper formats...
Damn, I gave up

The alien head is perfect! and I have been looking for a file of this for aaaggess. Would make a perfect armature to build on (after resin coating it) and save me loads of time of building up the clay.
Can you fix the file upload? or should I shoot you my email address?

movieman has been away but i will send the files, i got his head and another textured head and i through in a face hugger as a bonis (all .pdo) ... anyone else??? let me know and i will send also

What size paper/card did you print it off on?
I am looking into making a wolf bio/ wolf bio with texture. I have the file ready to print but what stumping me is the paper size it will print on.

Pepakura Viewer doesn't allow you to change paper size. You can download a free version of Pepakura Designer from Tamasoft. The trial version will allow you to re-size from A4 to Letter sized card stock but you can't save your work without buying registration.
When you re-size the paper you will then need to move the pieces around on the 2D lay out so that they fully fit on the new dimensions.

ok troilluss, i sent the files, i tried to find an egg last night but all i found was a vary small gaming one
maybe when movieman comes back he can make one for usoh and troilluss, can you send the big picture if your work with your bio and cannon (if you got them), i whould like to see it. just use the email i sent the files with

Hi guys... sorry I have not been around much.... with work and building my predator outfit I find that there are not enough hours in the day. I have ordered a Craft Robo cutter which is compatible with Pepakura... this will save me many hours of cutting time.
I have nearl built all my pep armour and detailed it useing craft foam and fibreglass... it looks cooooll if I say so myself.
I see that there are problems downloading my file from 4share.... I seem to be having problem with that downlaod provider so I may look for another one to use.
Here is a taster for the alien fans here.
I have unfolded the alien rib cage... not sure of the scale yet... I set it a bit larger so as to make it more easier to unfold... there are a lot of parts and it also comes with it's texture. I have also been unfolding some terminator stuff for some other people....
Just a couple of pictures to show just how much I am trying to catch up.... I will be re uploading all the old files and a lot of new files and BIO's all with their textures should anyone just want them as coloured models as well as wearable bios.
As the saying goes "I'll be back" once I have caught up....

i am a huge terminator fan as well as predator and aliens
as for hosting files i alway like mediafile... got pescky popups but its not too bad and my files i had stored for a year or so is still there. and i am on the free side too...

The scales may differ depending which 3D program you saved these from.... the best way I scal is to use the Millimetre scale setting in Pepakura and even this can be a little hit and miss if the model is not sat squarely in Pepakura.
The Alien head....... I did some research and the head are around 900mm (90cms) from front lip to back of the head and that is what I set mine to and after a test build I found it fitted on a human head perfectly.
The Predator head should be seat around 450mm tall.....from base of neck to highest point on top of the head. I have not test build that yet as Alien rib cage has been keeping busy when ever I get a chance to come on to my computer. As I said in my other message I am unfolding loads of predator and alien stuff for costume making.... also all the alien parts will eventually be assembled as a life sized model or costume parts as needed. I will be starting on the tail next and also the predalien... chest burster... all done just need unfolding.
