I never realized, before now, that McGann's was the only Sonic that was fully retractable. I thought all the classic ones could do it. Now I know that there was a spring loaded doohickey on Four's, but I thought all were collapsible like Paul's.

I am happy that this happened for all 8th Doctor fans, and even though I 'm lucky enough to have gotten in on this run, I know that some fans missed out, either due to finances, or simply not knowing, so I'm glad Russ is out there to serve our Sonic Needs.

I have a 3rd by CO, a 4th by CO and another 4th by Russ, a 5th by Russ, soon an 8th by Russ, a 10th by CO and another 10th by The Wand Company and an 11th by CO (didn't buy the Wand Co one because it doesn't have the moving parts.)

While I don't mind NuWho, I prefer the classic Doctors, and Sonics. The new ones are all pretty ugly, actually.

A few of my CO sonics have suffered through mods and experiments gone wrong lol. I may replace them eventually but as long as Russ keeps making these, I'd rather save my money for the good stuff! I got the Russ 4th and War Doctor's already, just ordered this one, and I have the TWC 10th and the wand company 11th with Kursosawa conversion to make it extendable and with light and sound. Last I talked to Russ, he had a few extra 4th and 5th from previous runs but I held off on the 5th since it's so similar to the 4th and I didn't want to spend too much at once. Now I'm glad I waited so I could get the 8th and the War Doctor's, but I'm definitely looking forward to another 3rd Doctor's run if it's in the cards!

Email Russ, there are several people wanting a Pertwee, and all it'll take is enough interest for the run to happen. This one is almost done, so I am sure Russ will be wanting ideas for future projects.

Was really hoping for an update today, but we are at the mercy of the delivery for the Springs. I do hope Russ ships all at once for those who paid.
