New Padd Kits and BackLit MSD - Idea/Talk only

Hey Everyone. This is Joe.
I just want to get your take on the idea of some New Padd Kits and Backlits of MSD. I just want to see if people are interested in this, before I spend the hours and hours on it. I am sure that I am going to do a few for me. A friend has gave me a number to a guy who has a laser Cutter. My friend sent me a copy of one of my Padd designs he cut out. I was very happy with the work. The price was also good. I am also talking to a few printers on Printed Vinyl and Backlits. The Vinyl will be used on the padds.


Here are some of the Padd Kits that I want to make kits of. I have all the templates done, and the graphics. The kits will be made to order. (Again just talking about this) I have a few padd that are not online. I made a few ds9 templates. Working on the Section31 padd that has the cure for odo. Geordi's Red Padd (With the key pad) If you like to see a padd made into a kit. Please let me know. (It would help if you post some photos)

I've made the graphic for the Bashir PADD you've shown above. It's very accurate to the unbroken one. I used screencaps and some pictures of the original which was sold on ebay a while ago as a reference.

Yeah I made the same one. I will post it soon. I have to watermark it and blur the text. I hate to do that, but I spend a lot of time on it. I do give out stuff from time to time.

Thanks guys for the reply. The mushroom starbase is my favorite. I would like to do another one with more detail. I am working on a versions for the large padd kit.

Now as to the new video tutorials. Like I said in the past. I would love to do some new ones, but I just can't with my computer. The computer I have is over 4 years old. I want to move to a Mac Pro. I just saw that the new Mac Pros are 2,799 to start. So when I get a Mac Pro, thats when you will see new tutorials. (Unless someone wants to give me a new Mac) lol


Anyway here are some new graphics. I remade the large padd graphic. I am make some new graphics for the large padd kit.

Poor jose, i sympathise with your plight. Maybe you could sell some of your wikked props on ebay or make a bunch of padds and sell them, i'm sure that'd bring up the right amount!

I wonder if US macs work in the Uk, that'd made a mac pro about £1500 mwuahaha
