They’re calling it a revival, not a reboot. And the pictures are of the original cast from 78 which leads me to believe that this is a continuation of that series.
Well, seeing that most of the TOS BSG Cast are either dead or retired, this will have to be BSG next gen

Everything I've heard says that they are saying that this show will be in the same universe as the Moore reboot. Some Youtube people are speculating that it must be showing the original Cylon war because it wouldn't make sense to have anything set after the series.

Easy pass then. I grew weary of the reboot a few episodes in on season two.

I enjoyed it up to the New Caprica storyline. It started to fall apart for me after that. Plus I couldn't stand their filler/stand alone episodes. they'd bring things up out of nowhere and promptly forget about them after the episode was over. And they were a couple of big things too like the black market and Apollo being suicidal, both popped out from nowhere and both forgotten when the episodes ended.
