New Member Indiana Jones costume

Hi guys

Just joined at will be sharing my costumes with you. There are a few WIP's but most are finished and screen accurate :cool

Indiana Jones (Raiders of the lost ark )

To source all the parts for this I contacted the original wardrobe dept for sizing and detail. I'll list the suppliers below

Hat: Christys Adventurer (HJ Poet Replica)

Jacket: Wested Goatskin custom made by the original Raiders movie costumiers http://www.wested.com/

Pants: Dark stone chino's

Shirt: Wested Indiana Jones replica http://www.wested.com/

Web belt: Army surplus belt

Gun belt: H&M leather with rounded buckle

Bag: WW2 Mark VII gas mask bag (exactly the same run as Lucusfilms)

Leather bag Strap: Ebay

Holster: Authentic WW1 leather Webley

Whip: Ron Allen of the Loxahatchee whip co. Courtesy of Daren Wilkerson in the USA (not shiny finish but great for events)

Boots: Todds Costumes

I also have the Wells Lamont work gloves (not pictured)

I know it's meant to be a S&W. Saw it on ebay and snapped it up. with the jacket off works as a Temple of Doom costume

Your name looks familiar.. Aliens Legacy or Hunters Lair? :confused

Very nice costume! Looks good on you! Holster-wise that holster is perfect for Last Crusade - the Temple of Doom holster is black. I can warmly recommend Todd's Raiders holster. Are you a COW member?

Yeah I'm IndyfanUK. Haven't been on there in a while though :lol

Looks like a good start. For the time being, the Wested pants are the closest to SA you can get, but pretty soon Magnoli Clothiers and Todd's Costumes will be coming out with good options.

I can also recommend Wade Egan for all your leather gear. We make belts, straps, holsters, and just about any custom order you can throw at us to the most SA specs.

Actually the TOD holster is a dark brown. It looks black depending on the lighting.

I've always loved Indy's gear. I am happy that Lucas/Spielberg made this nod to the movies of yesteryear when making these films:thumbsup

Wade's leather is the best Indy offerings I have seen.
Your gear looks pretty decent - when it looks that good, no need to really upgrade to higher-end gear unless you're full throttle into Indy Gear collecting - lots of members over at COW are only interested in Indy stuff, so thier collecting budget is focused all on that. For me, juggling SO many movie interests, I think I got a pretty good gear set that is acceptable not only to my standards, but to the standards of many of my fellow COW members:
