NEW Indy 4 gear pics!

Ya know, it's not really evident in the posted pics, but it's weird how much certain parts of Indy look like they belong to Agent 5. The hands for instance, look exactly like Agent 5's. I've seen one shot of Indy swinging - If it wasn't for Harrison Ford's face, you would have sworn that it was actually Agent 5.

Weird....

;)

I think the new film will be just as good as the other 3.
As for his age...well a raider/Indy will get older and still want to raid. Hes not a super hero or some character thats not supposed to age. And as for the jacket, gun and whip....well its a movie small things change. I don't say this to upset my fellow fans but give it a chance. Wait till it comes out and then give your thoughts on it, YOUR THOUGHTS.. not what everyone else is saying or thinks. To be honest i usaully like what everyone else doesn't like anyways or what anyone else is afraid to say they like.
Thanks for postin the pics! I can't wait to see it! Indys back!:thumbsup
I hope i look that good at that age.

He looks really good in the 3rd shot. I think watching him on screen we'll be loving every minute of it. I'm a huge indy fan, in fact they are my all time favorite films, i simply cannot wait for KOTCS.

Harrison will pull it off just fine. I am worried about the kid though. They arent the same as the older generation. Short round was a one of a kind. He cant be duplicated.

I would have preferred DAD instead of a sidekick but the ol geezer is too busy golfing. :cry

as far as the clothing.... well... my grandfather is 73 years old and has been wearing the same kinda clothes all my life and before that as far as i know.
some old guys are just set in their ways. I know im getting to be that way, i practically live in 5.11 pants...
anyway, Ford looks great, that first picture posted gave me chills INDY IS BACK !

The jacket looks like it was purposely weathered rather than weathered by usage in extreme and dangerous circumstances, like the Westeds used in the original trilogy. Ugh!

The original links are dead. Here's the pics.

is it me or is Indy not "dirty" enough? He's always been sweaty and dirty but Im not seeing that in the pictures. hmmmm....

and baaaaad hem job on the pants, lol.

The more I see these pics, the worse I feel. It just utterly stinks to see how old my childhood hero has gotten, while at the same time realizing how much older I am. I've seen pics of Ford before. I know he's not a young man anymore. But, I hadn't seen him as Indiana Jones in 18 years. I knew Ford was old, but in some strange way, Indy wasn't. He remained as we all remembered him from the original trilogy. Now... makes me sad. And having Shia there doesn't help at all. Doesn't mean the movie will stink, of course. I just don't know that this needed to happen. I mean, just a little hair color wouldn't have hurt.

Just noticed one thing: doesn't Indy usually sling his MkVII bag strap under his jacket rather than over his jacket as in the pics?

Lot of us feel that way. Childhood memorys aging is weird.
Let see what the first trailer will be like.

It has occured to me that I have not paid money to see a Harrison Ford movie in the theaters since Air Force One. I know I havent seen much of his stuff lately so I went to IMDB and was surprised... I have not even seen his last FIVE movies. Wow.

I guess I should be all for making old guys bigshot movie heroes.
It IS in my interest afterall.

I truly hope Lucas and Spielberg can pull it off grandly, but I am keeping expectations low.

Well, I'm going grey and I'm only 27... Indy's 58 in this - so what's the big deal? It's part of the plot.

According to IMDB, he's 65... Born in '42.

EDIT: Just re-read your post. So is he 58 years old in the story/movie then (I haven't been paying too close attention to the script details)...?
