Now THIS is how you declare bankruptcy. HT display at Toy Soul featuring good looks at all the new AoU figures, AND they're doing a 1/4 Iron Man Mk43. Lord have mercy on our wallets.

Well Cap's definitely on the list of need to buy

would have love to see the hulk buster armor next to the hulk figure to see if its in scale to him

Also I'm a little sad that our first really good look at Hawkeye is through an action figure and not a trailer

Hulkbuster is definitely bigger than Hulk, guessing the HB is least 20" tall, freakin' massive. The Avengers Hulk was about 18" tall standing straight. Sounds like it's correctly in scale - MCU Hulk is about 9' tall and based on the full scale Hulkbuster displayed at Toy Soul, HB is a little over 10' tall.

Does Hawkeye have mini-rockets on the side of his shins???? I know he is a good shot but how do you aim your shin?

Plus this confirms how Caps shield is attached to his gloves and gauntlets.

Lol they're little arrows actually. Not sure on the reasoning behind this accessory but I'm sure he'll make good use of it in the movie.

Also a good shot of his new quiver, looks like it can hold more arrows.

Their Groot confuses me, seems needlessly small. I'm guessing the measurement is including the base - in which case makes me scratch my head as to why they'd go through the trouble of designing such an accurate model but scale it down?

Considering all the other characters are 1/6 scale, Baby Groot is actually the wrong scale at 1/4 scale. It needs to be smaller to be in scale with the others.

But as a standalone release it indeed could have been life size, at about 19" including base.

I think they are just trying to appeal to the fans that want a "dancing" Groot. But, I do agree. Why go only 4.75 inches when you can maybe...double that and have a 1:1 scale, and appeal to more fans.

As far as Age of Ultron goes...I am going to try my damndest to resist most of those. I do want the Capt, maybe replace my Avengers version with him and sell it. The Hawkeye isn't doing much for me. Widow looks...well hot, but me and my fiance already have 2. I don't need to get into multiple Iron Man suits. Thor is ok, not needing. Hulkbuster...sure, I would love to have it, but my wallet tells me otherwise. Thanos...I am gonna need it at one point or another.

Any Ideal when the new Hot Toys 1/6th 1966 Batmobile will release. Got to get this one its going to be big as the others, the figures also fit in this car it will look great in my collection, Can't wait. This is going to be a nice piece to own. Yep it will For Sure take up some room, but I don't mind that its got all the bells and whistles. Hopefully anytime now.1966bm.jpghot-toys-batman-1966-tv-series-16-scale-collectible-figure-3-720x479.jpgHot-Toys-1966-Batmobile-batman-robin.jpg

At that price, I'm definitely keeping my SSC Vader. Pros and cons with either Vader but I find the SSC one has way more bang for buck than HT's recent release.

I just pre-ordered the HT Vader today, going to list my SSC in the JY soon.

I think it's a draw from the neck down between the two versions, but the armor and helmet on the SSC just don't look right and doesn't look like Vader. The HT isn't perfect, but it's a lot better.

I'd like to know when they're going to start taking orders for Drax from GotG. I realize that they are most likely spacing them out a bit but it's been a long time since Gamora and the others were announced. I'm slightly worried that they're going to pull a "Watchmen" and not do all the Guardians. They obviously have him planned since they've shown prototypes at various conventions but I'm a tad worried that they're holding off due to poor sales of the others or something. I completely gave up having "figures" in my collection a while back but was tempted back for the GotG figures because I liked the movie so much, but I don't feel like blowing so much money on an incomplete set.

Sideshow just told me that "Hot Toys have not released any information on that product yet" or some such and Hot Toys themselves have not responded at all to my queries. Has anyone heard anything?

I wish they would do all the characters and I'm sure there would be plenty of interest :)

Any regular Hot Toys customers in the thread? I received an email to say Rocket and Groot have been pushed back, April - June is the new ETA.

Does anyone know if this happens often?

Yeah, it always happens. I just got my Star Lord in yesterday! Supposed to be delivered in Jan originally.

The figure is incredible BTW.

HT is usually pretty good about hitting their delivery target, but they do miss every now and then, purely guesstimating they're about 80% on time. Also the port strike in LA/LB delayed some figures like Star Lord (Asia customers got theirs on time), but supposedly the strike is done though it'll take a few months for operations to revert back to normal.
