New Hot Toys Releases

Oh believe me, I want it...but I am not overly thrilled on the idea of spending more than I already have planned to. There's 10 figures involved with the Avengers line, you average those out at $200 a piece...

That's ten million trillion.

I just hope they fix the flaws in the endoskeleton.
Stock T-700 (same figure as the T-800) on the left, my photoshopped version on the right.

1/4 scale Batman up for order. Price was much better than I expected, but still passing. Keaton on the other hand...I'd have to consider that if they make it.

1/4 scale Batman - $465 - Release May 2013

SS have 6 flex pay plan, bringing it into my affordable zone, pre-ordering now - Anyone else!

No thanks, I'd rather have 2 1/6th

I just purchased a Jim Gordon SWAT off ebay for what I'd pay at SS after tax and shipping, I really wanted a second outfit!

Yeah, It would be cool, but i have so much in the 1/6th scale, to get something a few inches bigger....and for 2X the money....I have to slow down, or I'll be living in SideShow shipping boxes with the rest of my stuff.

Star Wars...

I want a HT Fett, Vader, TK, Han/Luke in TK... etc. etc. etc.

Enough with Batman and Ironman! I love em! I do!

Just enough already...

Surely the besbin Luke isn't it for SW... Right? :(

Thread needs a bump.

And, in honor of Sideshow taking my third flex payment on Avengers Cap, here's a pic of the TFA version!

(caution...large image!)

this could very likely be the first hot toys figurine I buy. wow. bet its pricey..

EDIT: $399US. not as bad as I expected....

alteregocomics.com 359.99 is another for the endo. (and you earn points there for future purchases just like Sideshow)
I rarely order directly from Sideshow unless it's a must have exclusive, and of course if your in Cali the sales tax sucks.

Agreed, but the payment plans make it more beneficial.. its easier to budget 50$ a mont than it is 300 in one month.. even though it comes out to be the same..

Something a little off with the shape of the endoskeleton's skull. I think it's the jawline. What do others think? Otherwise, head aside, it looks pretty good.

Proportion-wise they just upscaled their inaccurate sixth scale counterparts with the too long legs in comparison to the rest - a feature introduced by ArgoNauts when they released their fourth scale kit long ago and which has carried over into nearly any and all other licensed scaled replicas. Additionally, they used a Sideshow endoskull for the new skull sculpt on this piece, which can be seen in that they replicated the overly long teeth and the over sized chip cover to name a few.

They used other licensed pieces to make their "improvements" but only added more inaccuracies. They should have gone to SWS or checked out the endoskeleton that is residing in Japan.

Received my S.W.A.T Gordon today, looks sweet, the tactical bags on the legs are a little flimsy (after positioning it double check to make sure they are still strapped) but being as they are thin velcro like strips I'm not overly worried.

The radio handset was not fun to get into the tiny slot.
