Huge fan of the film but 500 for that hunk of resin no thanks .

Take the 500 put it down on a custom job money better invested .

I built my first one for 2500.00 , and my 2nd hero version , is going to be more.almost there with..parts and they, were higher the 2nd time around...its for people who are on a budget and really want or looking for one...hell I am interested...cause I am on a budget myself these days...but I am definitely a huge PR fan , so I wouldn't mind having one myself

I am going to talk with a friend first....about a PR , but I am considering this very seriously...I love the look and the base...how HCG did that...

I bet they'll sell lots of them. Hell even I'm considering it and I own a couple of PR's already.

The payment plan is a wise decision.

Agreed...just because we have our Pulse rifles , doesn't mean , some of us will pass on a deal like these....lol

The weathered ones look quite decent.

I still have my Brown Bess Replica, but a lot of the mechanics are going. The pump-action is now very loose, the second trigger snapped and the battery compartment will not stay tucked in. The good news is that the Aluminum Shrouds are in solid shape. If there's going to be a conversion I'll at least have that component.

Definitely...I still am looking for aluminum shrouds myself...I got the rest of metal and machined parts for my 2nd hero version....you got a great start from the first generation HCG Pulse rifle my friend !!!

Agreed...way over priced, but.....there is a market for people who love the movies like we do AND just want to own something cool.

But even with that shroud a true Hero your looking at at least another 4k easy Real Steel version .

Also agree the $500 is a bit steep for an item with zero moving parts (especially when fine quality resin ones can be had in kit form for just $200), but if that claim of 5.5lbs is correct, that is pretty dog gone light!

I wonder how they cut the weight? It can't be solid traditional resin that light, can it? Also wonder how strong it is. If it is that light and also durable, it will definitely have some value beyond your typical 'resin' pulse.

I built my resin-based PR for around $500, granted I upgraded with some metal parts and a functioning grenade launcher pump handle.

I just one , myself , for it being a Aliens pulse rifle....I would have all different kinds , if it was me...I still regret selling my Icons PR years ago , and that cost me 500.00 back then .....but either way...I would love to have 5 different kinds.....just something about the Pulse rifle collection , is what I am aiming for , no one has to agree , that they feel the same...I just merely am a collector of everything , especially different versions of the PR.....I love them things....hehehe....I am going to place an order right away, for about 10 months , and allow myself to get a few other props as well slowly....I love having 2 hero version PR's , but that just isn't enough for me.....HAHAHAHA

I have to keep my high end PR in the gun safe because it is a "shooter" so for display I have an incredibly nice Matsuocorp version with the metal airsoft TSMG, etc.

These new HCG versions are apparently a strictly static, no play prop but nicely done and based on their access to a real prop. OK for folks who don't have time / skilz to build up a kit. I suspect they'll sell a bunch.

Looks not bad...but 500$ for a lightweight Resinrifle with no functions?I think when somebody comes to my home and he checked that theres a Pulserifle on the wall...he wants to hold it in his own hands.And when I give him this lightweight resinprop....:unsure...and when I tell him the price...:facepalm

I would say max.300$+shipping is the right price for one of this guns.They are no copys of the real stuntrifles.

I agree , there is no comparison for all the real steel hero versions , that I ....and some of you have built , Im just a collector , and for me ....I collect...not so worried about price, when I am intrigued to own something....its all about peoples personal preference and what they enjoy and love, the passion for props ....I for one , don't care , about price , I have 2 real steel PR's , its the fact , of having what you want ,as I said before , its not everybody's thing, when it comes to what they have or don't have a passion for when it comes to money....I personally am not concerned....I love the look , and regret never getting an HCG 1st generation PR....so this is the closet I will come to that one after missing the other run as I was buying real parts back then...couldn't afford both ....I would get all 4 , of them , if I could ...LOL

I DO NOT think the $500.00 versions include the aluminum shrouds.

Paid for an HCG deluxe version just for the shrouds that were installed on my shooter.

My real steel PR which actually shoots WEIGHS A TON, twenty pounds without ammo, actually. Since it's a gun, I can't leave it up on the wall. People would drop it unless I warned them about the weight and even then I had a few close calls. In my state you can't leave a firearm openly, etc. so it becomes a safe queen.

I think it was you who provided that amazing metal slat panel display rack. Do you have more?

My backup / display PR is an amazing Matsuocorp version using a metal airsoft TSMG and a working (not a real gun, however) GL.

I have photos in my photo album , underneath me avatar picture , or it might be 4 albums , cant remember....I have several props hanging on display racks I built , for each prop , but my PR is sitting on a Black acrylic Aliens illuminated base , it weighs a ton , and I wouldn't dare , hang that sucker , on a wall....too much trouble , for something like that

But eeltee , I always loved your live fire version build my friend...that's some awesome stuff....mines completed deactivated and cant be made to fire , and my 2nd isn't built yet, but got most of all the parts...but it will be deactivated as well....I don't have that kind of money to spend for making it legal livefire version ...too much trouble for me...LOL
