New He Man sword (metal)

I saw the new version of he man sword on ebay and was wondering if anyone had gotten one? I know the blade isn't right, but I was thinking that the handle itself was pretty and would make a good display. Does it come apart?

I can't decide if I want one or not. Any help or other information would be greatly appreciated.

I've had some bootleg swords like that in the last few years. The one I had was all metal and okay quality. This one with a paint job would probably look good, especially if you don't need a PERFECT blade. As long as you like MOTU I'd say you're set.

Well maybe it's me, but the ones I've seen on e-bay sure don't looks like th sword of greyskull I remember.

That sword if from the newer version of the MOTU line that was developed in August of 2002. The sword itself is actually in the He-Man mode. In the cartoon, the sword is all closed up and when he raises it up the guard goes from closed to long and spiny/jagged. It opens up a portal above his head. Think in terms of the how the cosmic key open and would spin around.
