New Halo ODST

Been working on this helmet for few weeks now...

Still working out the final details of this helmet from the upcoming Game expansion Halo 3: Recon. Let me know what you think. I am totally open to criticism so fire away! Helmet shown next to a game ref photo for comparison, for all those folks that don't know what this is.

Looks really good Spase! Ive been waiting awhile to see one pop up.

I see a few small things that I would try to adjust/fix. I dont think your too worried about the visor detials, but the first recessed box detail on the temple area (on the right) could probably just be about half the size it is right now, in comparison to the ref pic. The only other thing I would suggest is rounding out the dome a bit more. Right now, the middle "section" is looking kinda boxy, where in the ref. pic, the dome is continuous and round, all around.

Thats all I really see, but overall, it's looking really awsome. The ODST helmet is one of my favorites from the game.

the panel that transitions the top to the ear does need to flow more into the helmet.. and the temple piece has been modified on the opposite side... front to back its the same size... but it has been shorten from the panel line above it...

very nice. I might have gone with different colors for the paint but it looks great the way it is.

The beauty of having the mold... I can make a new one any time. That one went to a customer. Fairly well approximates the "Rookie" paint and color scheme.

Have?... I wish I had an unlimited amount of free time and money to just give stuff away. In any Event... I've got the mold, so I can always make copies. Maybe I'll do a run over the Holiday and use up the rest of my vacation time.
