New Halloween costume idea

Hey everybody, altho this isn't a movie prop or replica, I figured you guys would be able to help me with some ideas and advice. I decided to snuff my Optimus Prime costume for Halloween and decided to make a helmet of a vinyl toy i'm obsessed with. I need suggestions as to what what type of object I can use to create the head/helmet from these characters. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

i think you could get WW2 helmet from ebay (or a flea market) and a one goggled scuba mask. maybe glue some pvc pipe on the bottom and some tubes inside the pvc. i dont know about the lenses. its just a idea, so its okay if you dont like the idea.

Thanks, I greatly appreciate all ideas! Maybe I'll jus scratch build the head with foam and bondo.
