New cyberman pep build

I just got my SFX Helmet in the post today and was just wondering what to do with the back portion of it. Is this just a modified version of one of the existing pep files? Have you made any plans for a fan/vent system in it? For the few moments I had it on messing around chasing my son it got really hot and humid inside the helmet. I'm going to dig around on the 405 and see if there are any plans for the fans used in the Halo helms that can be used in this one.

at dragoncon some stormtroopers made a odd sound.....

since a few faint in the summer heat marching in battle formation for a half a mile in the parade there, i wondered how some did fine, and some made the forementioned sound. one person had a battery operated fan/duct system in a hollow stormtrooper backpack. the 501st legion is their organization. but i cant recall the individual.

i doubt computer fans would be effective enough, but they are the only things i can think of that are small enough and eat small amounts of power. you wont be fitting any car batteries into that form fittin' walking coffin your making.

looks great. good luck.

so now just to wire up a lightup mouth piece.... now where do i get plans for that???

I just printed it as is, it doesnt match up perfect as you can see the gap which will need to to filled. if its scaled any bigger it wont match up at all. I got the files over at the cyberman builders group of which im a member. The guy that made them did a fantastic job!

@ sandman, WOW that is an amazing suit! did you make that out of these files?? Also i would love to know what you used on the undersuit, looks like foam. The gloves i think will be the hardest for me as ive seen the thread where they have been made and i just havent got that skill :(

Ive taken a break myself, i was hoping to see any new work that you might have done Craden..Im itching to get back to mine as soon as the holidays are over.

Well ive gotten back to my build, but now im working with foam more and more these days. I have recently decided that i will complete my build with foam and use the voice change mask for the head especially now that i have a casted back panel for it.

Hi,
Are you the same Craden as from Galactic Knights?

If so what happened with the Iron Man you were doing?

Paul

i have posted new photos with most of these parts together. Also i have made my duct tape body suit for use of display while not in use of the costume so scroll back to page one and check the thread.

UPDATE PHOTOS:
Not quite done as of yet, but im getting to a point where im starting to see all of my painful hours of "UPGRADING" are paying off. Becoming a cyberman requires a long and painful learning process to endure through....believe it!

I have not even started to upgrade my lower legs or feet yet, and im not looking forward to it.....However i am taking things in small strides and not hurdles in hopes that im thinking things through thoroughly. (insert laugh at self here)

At times it seems that i am frozen within my thoughts about how to deal with each upgrade, and then i find myself in the middle of either a creative flow of ideas and energy or a complete feeling of fear for what could turn out to be a very bad move. I am still unsure about the length of my upper arms because i feel that they are shorter than id like them to be.(my feelings are that they should extend up above the shoulder) The current upper arms just seem to barely meet up with the shoulder..maybe im overthinking it. Anyhow here are a few up to date photos of my current upgrades.
