So heres my attempt at the new cap helm,made in foam and accented with leather, comments and criticisms very much welcome

Ok so the helmet itself is made of eva foam shaped by trial and error until I had a pattern for a one piece outline, then I just hot glued the edges to fit!
FOr the ear pieces I cut up an old coat I got from the goodwill and fitted the desired pattern together until I have the effect I was looking for. The strap was again removed from an old book bag and the leather was cut to cover the nylon straps. The wings were made from a stencil just sprayed in place and the battle damage was made using a wood burning art tool
Finally to shape the nose and back of the helmet I cut a cloths hanger into pieces and hot glued behind each section and bent into shape to hold a particular curve.
Side note; this pattern will will anyone with 20-22 inch head!
