New BMF coming

does anyone have any good references for the landing gear? I have searched high and low and cannot seem to locate anything. i realize that the 32in may not have many reference shots (i have only ever seen the black/white image)...Any images would be great, as i have seen conflicting images on how the Landing bay "Flaps" open. thanks for any help!

I just saw this post,.....I have some images of the ESB 5 footer's gear,.....I'll post tomorrow

I came here to let you know that next weeks DeAgostini Falcon mag has a few actuator rods for the flaps on the engine,.....hopefully that is the start of the greeblies

Are you talking about issue 32?

Going back a bit, looks like Rebelscum has one of these new Hasbro TFA Falcons in hand now. They're saying possibly a micro-machines fold-out playset, but there's nothing on the package to suggest any such thing. Anyways, nope, I was wrong, not the BMF, but also doesn't look like a decent version of the 5' either - it's pretty small, and looks from the product pic on the box (love the forced perspective on that - "My god, look how HUGE it is next to that...oh...nevermind.", like it's actually got some ERTL-ized honking side walls.

I think it looks pretty good

PTSD of when I was a kid and bought the first MPC Falcon expecting what was on the box and got what was in the box. The horror!

At least they had the decency to show the little pic of the kid holding the real thing.

...i still want it. it's the falcon.

That's the pic, but are you looking at the big art on the box, or the smaller one on the corner of the kid holding it? No doubts the main image looks great, but looking at the toy in the 'try me' window, it's got soft, lumpy detail (although, the little greeblie detail on the cockpit tube is mimicking the 5' detail, isn't it? That's a good sign), and looking at the pic of the kid holding it, that's where my impression about the sidewalls, and the overall flatness of the hull is coming from. As always, I'll be happy to be wrong, but based on the pic of the actual toy I'm not convinced. Anyways, the point was that I was wrong before - clearly not the HS Falcon.

So Hasbro's entire catalogue has just leaked online, that's a thing that happened. How to put this kindly, Hasbro? Oh, I know - (ahem) "Well I never thought I'd be wistfully nostalgic for the original Kenner Falcon as a paragon of SA - thank you for that, Hasbro!"

I will be more blunt. The Hasbro catalog was full of crap.

Very surprised. Total junk.

Thank goodness for the Legacy Falcon.

Absolute garbage. The figures are good, but those ships are pretty awful. Consider how great the latest rounds of OT stuff they put out was.

Kids are gonna be angry when they open that falcon at Christmas. The 77 one is WAY better.

Has 30 years of toy engineering brought us anything? Even that xwing looks like the disproportioned on that came out in 77.

Im guessing they were REALLY rushed
