You may want to go with food coloring.
Iced tea needs to be refrigerated and only has a shelf life of a week, at which point it settles, goes rancid and gives off an unpleasant odor.

I'd also put a couple drops of bleach in to keep anything from growing in the water if you're displaying like that long term.
