NEW Blade Runner 2049 J.W. bottle - PICTURES PAGE 8

Last I checked the place I ordered from still had them in stock. Though they raised the price on them from when I ordered them. If you're interested it's Putnam Plaza Super Liquors. Hit the googles and should find it relatively easy. Type Blade Runner in the search. Happy hunting. About to work on retiring that one bottle.

Hey friends - have been lurking this thread for quite a while. Thanks for all of the amazing pics and leads on finding these locally. Just a heads-up that Reservebar has them available online if you search for "Directors Cut."

I ordered one for myself just in case my local bottles fall through and I'll let you know about the experience once I have it in-hand. (I've read mixed reviews on them even though they're Johnnie Walker's official site)

im very glad its on reserve bar, but an extra $35 on top of the already inflated bottle price is a little steep for me right now. ill wait another couple days to see if it shows up locally first

An extra 35 dollars? When I click on the link it's says it's 90 dollars. I thought that's the retail price?

Yeah, $35? The bottle was $90 and I paid a grand total of $114.52 after shipping($16) and taxes (which I'd have to pay locally anyways.)

The problem with buying it locally IMO is that they're all too aware of the interest and price gauging is highly likely.

yea, mine was $127.22 after taxes and shipping, and i meant inflated bottle price cuz its BASICALLY johnnie walker black label which is normally $30 locally. it is actually a different blend of whisky but not THAT different. i personally am buying this for the bottling (and memorabilia) since i think the bottle is absolutely gorgeous so its no big deal

Oh ok, as a bartender / bourbon & scotch nerd we agree to disagree on this then :) That's like saying that black is the same as green or red or ... well, you get the point :) anyways, have a better one!

An extra 16 dollars is nothing to guarantee you getting a bottle. Hopefully the shipping package is good. I wonder how long it will take for reservebar to sell out?

I agree. Also isn't it a higher proof? 98 proof I believe to the standard 80.

Thanks for the heads up wakeuptimetodie !

Since I would have had to pay liquor tax anyways, this gets the bottle in hand. It'll be great to add to the collection.

I see half of the bottle on the left is gone. How is it? Any different then regular black?

I like regular JW Black but this is a little different. I don't think it's as peaty JW Black but it definitely has more heat. Probably because this is a higher proof from the blend. Still smooth though once you get past that first bite.

They have Reward points you can rack up easily on the site to get yourself a discount. With almost no effort I racked up over 1000 points (like their Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and got $15 in Reward points toward the order. That basically knocks out the shipping cost. Save yourseld the headache of searching and do what I did.

Thank you SO much for posting this, just got mine and very happy. That site also offers cool discounts and whatnot, you can rack up Reward points to redeem for money off your order, and if you're buying two bottles, they have a code of SHIP2017 that gets you $5 shipping on the order. Great site, thank you!

To the guys who have got the bottles - is this realistically going to be moddable to be screen-accurate? I'm presuming all the extraneous stuff is actually printed onto the glass rather than paper labels? If I'm going to shell out for one of these I want a replica, not a real spendy piece of promotional marketing. I drink whiskey from Aldi :lol

I got mine for my replica collection and I want it as SA as possible so dont have a problem screwin with it too much. Going to get some nail polish remover and have a crack at the BR2049 logo. When time and cash allows will see if a base for the cap can be 3D printed. The cap is a little bigger than the movie one but I wouldnt mess with the cap. The only way I think of addressing the label is to have a new one printed on ultra thin vinyl. Just the label, not the top and bottom ribbons.

Ugh, what a pain in the ass! "Just sold out" is the standard reply I'm getting when making inquiries.

Congrats to those who scored. :thumbsup

Thanks man, I bought the one from the junkyard yesterday. Will keep my eye open for mods, let us know how you get on with the logo :thumbsup

Epic man! Glad to know at least someone in the area got some :thumbsup

very jealous of your three, hahah

Those of you who are buying local in the US, what are the store prices like? Considering just going the reserve bar route, but wanted to see what you guys were finding they were going for before dropping the $90/each.
