New Amazing Spiderman Suit Project ---Sample Pics---

Any mid February updates on this. Super excited, especially for the outcome of the shadowing/distressing details between the honeycomb matrix. :)
 
Hey guys

Update is we are still working away on this. We have the files done and have been working through the R&D obstacles that something like this throws at you. Whether you go with silicone or HD inks on something like this you find out real fast that the fabric when loaded up like this does not give the way you believe it will. You cant just make a medium and let it stretch to fit.

So we had to take it back some and get a form cast up exact to the model who will wear it and build the suit around it similar to what they did for the film. We mocked up the suit and scanned the pieces into the computer and are adjusting the pattern now. No set timeline but if all goes well it will be exact. Aiming for the color and look you see on screen after the film is graded also not the bright color of the suit in the daylight spy shots.

Will post some pics of the next screen run as soon as it is there.

Bump! Looks like you're onto something here, great work! Just do your best I hope I can speak for everyone (though that's never a gurantee- when I say we're rooting for ya and it's looks like you got a great start!) So about those updates....

That's a shame...I would've been very curious as to how this would've turned out. Although I am 1000% satisfied with my 100% handmade MCL34N suit :)
