Nemesis Phaser rifle grip material help needed

Can anyone identify a source for the material used to cover the grip and stock sections on the Nemesis phaser rifle i think its rubber but if theres a solid alternative out there let me know cheers

I can't tell you what they actually used, but I think I know something that would work. At Home Depot you can buy those office flourescent light box covers. They come in sheets and to be they look almost spot on to that raised diamond look and feel. Make a template and cut a couple of pieces to shape, a little Plastidip and BAM!

Hey Judge-

I have a piece of adhesive backed rubber that looks almost dead on to that pattern; I don't remember where I got it, but It's been floating aroung my dungeon for years...

Here's a pic...

I don't know if it's big enough for both sides of the grip. Maybe you could put some silicone on it and make resin casts. If you want, PM me you addy and I'll mail it to you...
