needsome adive how to use a dread mold

OK I git a mold for dreads.
Yep the easy one (I hope..)

How do I use this mold? Just pour in the latex? Or do I need more or other extra's?
It's just a pipe made of very smooth plaster of Paris.

that's the mold that recaster in france used to rip off bambooie's dreads. Even used pics of Joe's to promote his own dreads and dread rings. Fantasticboutic.

i saw that on ebay...told my m8 its was that recasting scum bag....he was eitehr gonna let me get it....or get it for his own pred....but i put him right....i recognised the pic straight away...id give ya advice but ive never cast anything in latex so sorry LOL

Well he bought a half thing with which he cant make any god dreads anyway....

and i know recasting is a bad word.... but without the recasters of the first P1 stuff and othr starting out propmakers no one would have had a start with our hobby...

and yes, if i find a face hugger on e-bay for 15 US$ 1:1 scale of a model long gone out of production, why shouldnt i buy it? as well as latex stuff and "recasts"of members who are making new pulls of their original artwork?

of course nicking stuf on here and recasting/SELLING it on e-bay as if you were the original artist is a shame indeed.
but if you say its a recast, and are honest about it, whats the problem?

btw i have far more respect for he guys who make pred stuff out of the bin!!!!!!!!!

ok...I'll try a different way to make my own dreads. Just going to check if the candlestyle wil work proper.
hmmmmm..than I could make more than 1 dread each time...

OKOK..I didn't knew that I bougth a recast!

1e I WANT TO APOLOGISHE TO EVERYBODY THAT I STARTED THIS THREAD, with a mold which was from a recaster (what I now know)
2e You have the freedom to kick me around because I was so stupid to buy this crap!!!
3e Hopefully I won't be kicked outoff this forum because I was so stupid to buy recaster crap!!!
4e The mold is now trown away, I won't use anything from recasters.

andrew is right, I've never banned anyone for not knowing they purchased something from a recaster.....it's becoming harder and harder these days to find out who is who and what's the score when it comes to this kind of stuff.

recasting will always be a part of this hobby, it's a shame but it's a hard truth those that don't accept it .well tough ****...it's a reality.

aside from not selling anything on the open market or fleabay these is really no way to protect yourself or your work aside from the suggestions i've given people

A) stop selling ****
B ) stop selling ****
c) stop selling your ****. ....

I guess it takes time to develop knowledge of who is legit and who is in for con-game, and even then i've seen the best get dupped.
