Need help with RussRep Obi ANH spacer

Hey all

I´m putting together my second Obi ANH saber - tunisia version.
What I´m working with is:

- Russ emitter/ cone
- Russ grenade
- Russ clamp spacer
- Real clamp
- Russ steel booster
- RE handwheel

My problem is assembling the saber with the use of Russ spacer.

One end goes into the grenade, the middle section is where the clamp goes on and the other end goes into the booster...But how to you keep whole assembly together??? The spacer doesn´t have any threaded holes to screw the pommel and/ or grenade to, it simply slides into these parts :wacko

Do I have to glue it all together or is there another, more clean option to assemble it!?

Marcus, you could apply gaffa tape the ends of the spacer to provide a tight fit.
The only reason we didn't go with threading, was because it would have to be mm perfect for alignment.

When I had mine I put two drops of blue Threadlock on the spacer. This held it in place very well. Put a drop or two on the spacer and then slide it into the grenade and give it a twist to spread it around. Let it sit for an hour or so and it should be pretty solid. Do not use red threadlock or you will never be able to get them apart.

The clamp should be sufficient to hold the spacer to the grenade. I used teflon tape to hold the booster in place, although I can still rotate it.
