Need help on colored translucent plastic ?

Looking for colored translucent plastic to vac-u-froming ?
There is this web site but it can not be Vac,

You want PETG.
If it doesn't come in the color you want then you can dye it with RIT dye.

You can dye clear PVC as well but it usualy involves harsh chemicales. But you have to watch you heat when vac forming PVC as it starts to degrade if heated too high and release nasty fumes. This could be further compounded by any chemical treatment beforehand.

To the best of my knowledge all acrylic should be formable by heat.
Cast acrylic is slightly more difficult to vac form than extruded because of its properties, other than that I can't think why it can't be done.
Unfortunately only acrylic will give you such a wide range of colours, thicknesses and finishes.

Would mixing some clear acrylic Tamiya paint with Future work? You cold do the vac-form, and then dip it in this.
Sorry if this is way off...I'm new here.
