need duct tape dummy help!!

ok, i duct taped the "victim" and cut it off the side, it caved in on itself and how do i stiffen it up before i put foam in it could anyone give me a more detailed tutorial on the duct tape dummy, having slight problems with it

You need to fill it with something. I have heard some say foam and I might try a PVC pipe armature filled with newspaper or something.

im talking about wheni take it off the person, my last one completely lost its shape when i took it off, i tried to fill it with foam, and it just got everywhere

i found out that the duct tape i actually used was worthless, it slide around, yet stuck to everything else, my shirt touched it and it left residue everywhere, screw walmart, im gettin the good stuff next time

What kind did you get?? Of course Wal-Mart has the good and the cheap stuff.

i cant exactly remember what it was, but the adhesive was all gooey and left residue on anything it touched, it overall sucked, im gettin the good stuff now

When I did mine last weekend I seran wrapped my body, then over that went two layers of drywall take (the mesh kind) and when put three layers of duct tape over that. Unfortunately the seran wrap made it kinda hard to get off my body, but at least it more of less held it's shape. It collapsed in on itself, but could easily be brought back to shape.
SO far, the bottom half has filled out quite nicely with foam. I don't know about the top half yet. I'm going to home depot tomorrow to get more foam. I'll try to let you know about how that goes

I think this link might help. i can give some helpful advice since i help my Girlfriend and her sister stuff duck tape dummies. For a durable duck tap dummy make sure it is at least 3 layers of duck tape. Then go to Michales or joanns or your nearest fabric store and pick up some pillow stuffing your gonna need a couple bags depending on your size . I know all of this from experience so i hope i could have been some sort of help . Hope All Goes Well
