Need a Clear Resin Alternative

I can’t get any clear polyurethane resin for about a month. Everyone where I live is sold out. I need to cast a few small glass lens type pieces, does anyone have any suggestions?

I thought about using polyester resin, but it takes a few days to dry and I’ve never used it, I hear it can be go milky and the result has to be glass clear.

This is for silicone mold casting

Any suggestions?....

my supplier is out of everything clear, even epoxy...I'm thinking of trying a casting and embedding resin from the local hardware, claims it's crystal clear, so maybe that will work.

Table/bar top epoxy may work, I've never cast it though. It's made for pouring in layers.

when I cast my lens' for the macrobinoculars I use alumilite "clear", realy nice stuff

Here's a pic of the results so far. It casts well and is clear, but is slightly sticky still, so might need more drying time....

does the resin instructions ask to bake it after casting?

Is it polyester resin? Polyester tends to be sticky.

This stuff is weird.....it drys clear but remains slightly sticky even after a week of drying. So I put it in the oven for 10 minutes and it dried it out, but turned it yellow:confused ...strange indeed
