Neca Power Loader Modification (Complete!)

Re: Neca Power Loader Modification

Almost done!

Here's the waist section all cut up.

Just like the antennas, no piece goes to waste. The middle of the hip goes to reinforcing the modified part.

The new control sticks work like a charm. Sill need a proper Ripley though...

Re: Neca Power Loader Modification

I couldn't resist, and just had to add a little more detail - the roll cage "work lights".

From what I could figure from the film, they're about 1/4 of the bar circumference as they don't show up from the front & side of the roll cage.

I had a slightly bigger clear tube, but it didn't look too strange after it was done.

Looks ok, I suppose. Granted, the real thing has traces of packing tape on the ends of the lights!
I wasn't sure if the actual lights had clear or frosted lenses. I went with clear, and stuck a piece of white Styrene behind it - looks like it did the job!

Last things on the list are the "shoe laces" and a correct Ripley.

Re: Neca Power Loader Modification

Finally got the correct version of Ripley! ...the factory weathering on the shirt is a little disappointing on this copy though.

Still need to do some final fit adjustments on the roll cage - there's no going back after I secure the left & right segments!

Re: Neca Power Loader Modification

New pics! I think the "shoelaces" are gonna have to stay off - the base geometry's just really off, and I don't think I wanna mess with it anymore.

Apart from the light feature, I think it's done!
