NBC's Community

If there was ever a episode that called for Garret to scream out something, it was this one. His "ASS CRACK BANDIT!!" was hilarious. Best fit for that character since the "Crisis Alert" mentions in the UN episode!

Haha, yea, they've already done some great stuff with the 'side characters' at Greendale in these first couple episodes. Garret's "ASS CRACK BANDIT" siren, Neil (formerly 'Fat Neil', currently 'Real Neil with Pipes of Steel') knocking over trashbins to start riots and giving a touching eulogy for a lost classmate, Leonard coming in at random moments and being the most watchable human being on screen. They're getting some awesome moments.

Okay, I see the great show that Community was in seasons 1-2, in this week's episode. Fast paced, back-and-forth. I liked. A LOT.

Agreed. Definitely one of the best episodes in years, doing all of those things that are the essence of the show--these characters bouncing off each other, real emotional stakes and fallout, warm fuzzies and family dynamics. Plus lots of sperm jokes.
I don't think I've laughed at anything on the show in years as genuinely as I laughed at Britta and Jeff's exchange about her panties being kept as a trophy instead of having been carried away by a hawk.
"You exploited me and made me believe in a slightly more magical world."

And now we know how Troy will leave the show, with that round the world cruise in a sailboat...
I guess they'll drown the character after enough time has passed for people to start asking, "Hey, shouldn't Troy be back by now?"

Troy's final episode tonight. Community's facebook page just put up this video:

Anyone else catch the Troy update duting the newscast?

Makes me wonder if a Troy reference will be 'hidden' in every show.

It also made me wonder if they're setting up his 'permanent' departure.

Coat check girl returns. Just seemed too convenient for me, though.
Abed should have worked harder somehow for that, they could have done much more with that than they did...

Thanks God for on demand, but I can't be the only one amazingly annoyed with Community being on in the exact same time slot as Big Bang Theory?

The last couple of episodes were very good, but I have to wonder if this show will be axed after this season.
I don't hear any buzz anywhere about the show since it was put up against BBT's time slot. Heck, a co-worker of mine who likes the show recently was surprised to find it was still on the air!

Ass Crack Bandit episode was definitely, primarily, referencing the Zodiac movie/story. I know this simply because I'm a giant Zodiac dork... the fact they never solved the case has messed me up to where I've probably seen the movie over 50 times lol. Dunno why I like it so much. My wifey even got me a few of the newspaper stories and a warrant poster that they had printed during the actual Zodiac crime spree (of course, sadly, reprints) for Christmas haha. ACB has been one of my favorite episodes from the entire show, and I've seen every episode of Community probably 3 times besides the current season haha.

A big hello and big props to all those that have chimed in on this thread and are fans of the series. Most of you have no idea who I am yet, currently still trying to fit in as a new member here at RPF. I'm currently working on my own scratch-built replica design of Hawthorne Wipes that I hope to finish tonight for fun.
