National Treasure

Yes Brody, it is a Library of Congress card. The seal is on the middle of the card. Doesn't show up as well in the photo.

Thank you for the spelling correction. I will be fixing that as well as darkening the seal.

National Treasure - Back of Declaration of Independence

I put together a version of the back side of the DOI showing the Ottendorf Cipher clues as well as the image visible with the colored ocular specs.

The cipher numbers and image are from screen grabs from the movie. The back of the DOI is from a site that I came across that shows you the back side of famous documents.

The image is in low res but I have a high res if anyone is interested.

Nice work Barneyrfd, can you post a photo of the Hi-Rez without the image visible from the ocular glasses. The numbers are from my screengrabs I posted right?

great wallet stuffers, DBCooper !!!! very well done !

thanks to all the others for the nice input. the megaupload file seems to be down for me unfortunately :confused

I will work on removing the ocular image and posting the hi res image. its 18mb in size so i don't know if it will post here or if I will have to post it to my RapidShare account.

I put the numbers on using a font style in GIMP using info from my own screen grabs of the movie.

Ouch nevermind for me on the Hi-Rez but if you can do a Low-Rez of the back without the ocular image that would be great. On dial-up right now so 18MB would take forever.

Here ya go, low res no ocular. By the way, the image of the DOI is at full size approx. 24.5" x 30".

Done :)

Check out post #89 here

WOW!!!!

I have not seen the pics of your Prop Room before but that is incredible! You have acquired just about every prop I have on my list and then some!

I think most of us "Prop junkies" would love to have a room like you have created. Man, you could almost charge admission to tour the place!

Well done indeed!

And thanks for adding my humble contribution to your collection. The tweaking you did to make it look like the front looks great!

Thanks Barneyrfd :)

Here is the tweaked version

Has anyone done a good "The Secret Lies with Charollette" note? I tried copying the one on screen by hand but it always comes out bad.

Something with just the text in the correct size and style woud be awesome. Then it can just be printed off on everyones own aged paper.

I second that! :p

Ive done my own secret note, it is not perfect but ok... It isn't too hard, and the angle is not correct, so the letters go down a little bit at the end, but it looks ok for me. If someones got a 100% perfect paper prop, that would be awesome...

Here is my note:

I feel compelled to mention that NT can be rented in "HD" from iTunes. Not 1080p, but probably better than a DVD ... In case someone wanted to drop $4 and get some screencaps ...

Barneyrfd -

Great job... These both look great. I am aging paper as we speak.

Thanks so much for the share.
