Been working on this Ford's Theatre Playbill poster for awhile and finally might be close to finishing it. The playbill is accurate to the prop created for the movie but the prop is not accurate to the actual Ford's Theatre playbill itself. The playbill was only briefly seen at the beginning of the movie.

I printed out a draft copy that misprinted but somehow kind of looks okay in a "vintage printing press" sort of way. The "aging' job is horrible but like I say, it's just a draft.

Beautiful work, it perfect to me. The aging process is the part I enjoy about paper props. I usually print out several and try different methods of aging to see which one looks best. Be sure to post here if you decide to share the file.

Did anyone ever find a book jacket for the Riley Poole book? I know some folks said they were working on it but I'm not sure I ever saw a finished product. Great job and thanks so much to all the talented fans here!

There was a run with these book, the front is cool, the back is ok, not the best, but nice for display... But I remember someone wanted to make a better high res version from the screenused prop... I was shortly before to buy one of the books from the movie...

Yeah, that person was me, I think. Still have 1200 dpi scans of a screen used cover, but the screen used cover is not 100% sharp either. This was what I was working on:

Still one of my favourite movie and still one of the one I prefer to collect prop! All props are wonderful!
