Sooooo I realize I'm a little late to the party, but *BUMP*

I am just having trouble finding a place to buy the colored lenses from. If anyone knows a place that is still operating, I would really appreciate it!

This is my pair I made just this week with the frames from Townsend. I have to shorten the metal armatures from one set to fit to the front frames. I did not weather the frame set although I did sand down the rear frame pieces. I pick up the lenses from Edmunds and work the diameter a bit to fit the loupes. It's a great set and accurate to the screen pieces. For the money, impossible to beat but a bit of work to get them together.

Would you mind telling me where you got the colored lenses from. I tried the Anchor Optics link but it no longer works. Cheers John

Edmund scientific catalog:

You will need to get one of the red, blue and green, keep the clear filter from one loupe. You will also need to sand down the edging on some evenly. A bit of a pain to do but the sizing is not perfect from color to color.
