"National Treasure" Leather Declaration Carrier tube?

It's the maroon/burgundy/oxblood Leather tube Cage wore slung across his back. Did we ever find out what this was? A source? I did a search here and couldn't find anything but pipe info. :lol

You're right Darth. Indy does make the leather version. The plastic version seen later can be purchased as a found item from Amazon or the like

I've emailed the seller and asked for more pics from different angles, Also, it DOES come in burgundy.

...and it's a LOT cheaper at 149.00 :thumbsup

The ebay seller is "Chikenliken" (note the spelling) and can get these in burgundy too, or the brown one could probably just be rubbed with oxblood dye or something.

When the movie came out, we were all looking at the flyrod cases for the exact model but never id'd it. The Ebay one uses metral clips, while the movie piece does not. There are quite a bit of close matches, but we have never nailed down the original one.

The hero tube was supposedly scratchbuilt, but I can't see why they'd go to all that trouble. I do see some small differences in the eBay tube, (mostly buckles/ clips) but they're nothing we couldn't fix later.

I just bought this tube off Ebay for $49!! It's made with a Brownish-Burgandy leather exterior and a black lining inside. Not 100% accurate but incredible for $49!
