Mystique Solo Movie Rumors

Hey RPF community!

So Ive been hearing and reading the possibilities of Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique to get a spin off movie! Apparently her part in Days of Future Past is really important (Shes on almost every poster). Here is the link to the full story on Entertainment Weekly :

Just was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this possibily?
Jennifer is an amazing actress, but do you think maybe the studio is only considering a spinoff for her character because of the hype that surrounds her?

Last I heard is Jennifer Lawrence cannot wait until her contract is done with the x-men movies after Apocalypse. I read an article (Which I just searched for that came out in Feb but can't find it), pretty much she said she wants to focus on more plot driven movies.

Either way I'd be cool with it, but she always creeped me out in the blue makeup because her forehead looks huge with her no eyebrows.

Aww, man. I was about to say that we have a member here who not only makes movies that have cohesive plots to them, but is also the only person Jennifer Lawrence wants to work with.

Doubt they can afford to extend Jennifer Lawrence past whatever her current contract with Fox is. Plus she doesn't seem to enjoy sacrificing other projects for the X-Men franchise, she'll get out as soon as she can.

I would have rather watched a Rebecca Romijn Mystique movie. I like Jennifer Lawrence, but I didn't think she was that good as Mystique.

They can make JLaw do a cameo, then boom she changes her image for a buncha other actors/actresses to do the movie lol. Fox says they dont have much faith in spinoffs after how Origins did, but X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner would really like to do spinoffs (like Channing Tatum in a Gambit movie)
