I'm sure some of you have already seen some of this stuff, but I thought I'd throw it all out together so everyone can show off there best parts of the Wolverine costume and give tips on getting the best pieces they've found...

me Halloween the year X1 came out...

and my indianhead buckle that I came across in '02

Fossil watch I came across in '03 that looked pretty close to what I could tell of the watch in X2...

I'm getting rid of most stuff except the buckle and watch, so I can afford the next jacket and new updated stuff for the outfit, pm me if interested...

I have jeans I've done up X2 style a bit... and a pair that work for X3. Also have some decent tanks and T's I've come across. I'll have to get pics of them all soon, hopefully give some decent tips for folks... And I've got a new set of claws I'm working on as well.:)

Working on a new set of gloveless claws in aluminum... similar to the movie prop style.

As you can see they start out as a very rough casting that I had to file down to good shape, then hit with various sand papers and rough polisher pads on a b&d mouse sander.

Got the wires for one hand bent to fit and still need to shape the palm grip... much more to come.

I'm working on a new set of claws too, gonna try to get pics up in a couple of days or so.
Your claws are looking awesome btw.

truly frackin AWESOME man!!! :eek

those look nicer than screen used!

just remembered not to get to shmammerd... or you might accidentally impale someone.

Yeah, luckily I was DD Friday night anyway... so less worry about the trip/fall/stab problem. All the blade edges are flattened and the tip around round, so they're about as lethal as the average butter knife, so small pokes aren't a problem. B)

Hell no, I'm not making any to sell... too much work. Easily more than a couple hours per blade the way I did it. I'd have to charge $600 per set for it to be remotely worth it in this aluminum. Now if I get into casting them in resin or something later, then that would be a consideration, but I haven't done any of that before...

finally got around to getting pics up of last halloween's project...

new dogtag I ordered and 'red monkey'ed up my fossil w/ leather strips, punch, and eyelets...

It all came together ok w/ the facial growth... now if i could only look mean instead of constipated. B)

Howling - Yep, the buckle is damn accurate. It's actually the reason I joined Ebay a few years ago right after X2 came out. Happened across this buckle on a random search... Won the bid and it was at my door for under $5 total :) It's from the OG company that did the movie version, mine is #351 from the 1976 line, so it looks to be from the same exact casting from what I could track down of the movie buckle (could be just speculation though) You can still find these for decent prices, even already painted if you're lucky.

Thomas - http://www.jrotcdogtags.com/canadian_tags.htm but you have to make sure you specify to invert(mirror) the text on both tags so it comes out correct.
this place also does them for the same price... http://safetytags.com/viewProduct.php?proProId=53

Thanks.

I picked up one of those buckles off of yahoo auctions last year. Mines bronze though, it's from the same company, same year and everything, just in bronze. I'd like to find a silver one someday.

Thought it was a good time to bring this thread back to life as I've got a few PMs asking about this stuff...

Wolverine's gear has had a little continuity, his Tank top has been the same from x2-Origins, his X2 belt is back in Origins, his buckle only missed X3, his watch was in x2-x3...
