Another recaster has popped up!
e-bay seller jeepfx is selling a recast Auryn again after we already let him know the origin of the sculpt.
We thought he complied to not making further casts so I didn't post it here, but apparently we were wrong.

I don't know why this keeps happening, but another e-bay seller has recast our Auryn!

I have already asked him to pull the auction, so hopefully he or she will do so.
Please support us again in this and maybe a few more complaints can let him know that the prop community doesn't take recasting lightly.

Hopefully this is not another member, but I'm looking into it.

Thanks for the support everyone!
If this person does not know the etiquette regarding recasting another person's work, maybe the responses of everyone and the questions or comments directly to this seller can show that this is a serious violation of it.
What sucks is that those who do and have bought an Auryn from this person is getting a really poor quality piece for much more than we have offered!

Please continue to support us in this until the auction is taken down.

The seller was quite nice about the situation admitting that they did not realize this was a fansculpt when they had purchased it, but believed it to be a cast of an original replica from the movie.
They also stated that they were sorry for the late response, but they were out of town the day I sent my first e-mail.

We have no hard feelings against this seller since I feel they truly did not know what they were doing.

My wife and I again appreciate the continued support of each individual and the prop community as a whole:thumbsup.

We found another scumbag recasting my wife's Auryn.
We had already e-mailed him about this from his last auction, but apparently, he didn't want to listen.
He bought a recast Auryn from the the first recaster, made it thicker and recast it to sell.

Anyway, please beware of this recaster jeepfx:

He also has a few other props for sale such as star trek badges and Conan snake medallion. So I have a hunch these are recast pieces as well.

The Conan medallion is everywhere, I make a copy and I know at least one other member does as well, I can see from the pic on Jeepfx's ebay site that it's not my Conan medallion version, but I think the holoemitter might be Judgedredds.

Since my wife has been hit by recasters, she is now going to constantly make this available on e-bay, her site or through our forums.
Just let us know and we'll get it done.

We figured this would be another angle to beat these guys, and she posts up the seller names of the recasters on her e-bay sales page so that people can steer clear from them.
