The Quorra figure is the easiest mod ive ever done... I used a GI JOE movie series "agent helix" head, and simply painted the hair solid black.

The jacket looks like a match, but there seemed to be some mod on the upper arm to cover the alpinestar logo?

And I feel that while it's a cool jacket, it's not the same one Kevin Flynn wore. Maybe it's because young Kevin Flynn is pure CGI so there isn't actual costume for him?

Only his head is digital, the rest of him is actor.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if Jeff actually played CLU on-set, or was that someone else in the suit? Might not find out 'til the DVD.

Yes and no..he did play CLU and then they had a body double come in and they re-shot it again..

partially, Jeff actually also appeared on set for his stand-in, so the stand-in John Reardon could imitate his mannerism and movement to match it to the CGI face.

I don't know, there's a promo pic with director Joe Kosinski, who wore a jacket with a Light-stripe. I'm not sure, if it's the same Flynn wore

after looking closer at the teaser trailer and also assuming that kevin's jacket there is the same one he wears in the grid, then joseph kosinski's jacket is not the same one.

if they where true to the time line the jacket would have to be 1989 or older
there are some other jackets out there close to the jacket from other companies

great job on the custom!

i thumbed through the 'art of' book tonight and notced a shot of an aged, worn out tron prop action figure with the 1982 white/blue design. it looked to be set dressing from sam's apartment set. the figure design was completely different than the original 80s toys. i don't really recall seeing the prop figure in the film... it looked pretty awesome, though.

It seems that the action figures were done from one mold, for production speed's sake. Seems even the head was the same and was derived from Tron - since adding something is easier than removing.
