My TDK Suit Build By Gotham City Fx *Suit has arrived*

Gonna give the company a shout, see if they can help, if not will either have to pay for it to be cast :( or improvise with a similar design!

Does your UD suit have straps?

Yeah it has the straps but its just plain it doesn't have those details you see on the screen used one, but then again the UD is for a different purpose as it has stretch for riding a motorcycle. Doesn't yours have the detail though? I saw pictures on the Gotham City Fx site and it has the details.

Nah man mine doesn't,around the arms it does but not from chest to shoulder, which pic were you looking at?

Here is another version of their suit on the site!

No probs for the rep, give it out where due!

This place looks perfect tbh, they even do custom designs!

Will send them an email for sure!

Thanks again buddy!

that should sort that problem out, next is save for some carbon fibre inserts and a cowl from coofunkcurly/finhead

If anyone watching is looking for a TDK cowl for a smaller head, give me a shout or a pm. I will be putting an interest or fs thread up soon. I have a 23" head but the cowl is too tight for me with a mesh hood. Any interest hit me up! :)

I think GCFX may be playing with cf inserts as well. Check with him. And you can be assured they would fit exact into your suit. No guarantees ours will. ;)

Never mind, I was looking at the straps around the arms. I just noticed it was missing from chest to shoulder.

Ah yes, I wouldnt imagine yours would slip in, Im just looking forward to grabbing a cowl man. I have emailed Selman to see if he has been working on anything!
Cheers for the heads up Kev, you may of made my day!

How comfortable is the suit to wear for long periods?

I havent worn the suit yet for a prolonged time due to it not quite fitting yet.(just waiting on GCFX to send through a little bit more material) When the suit is on (with mesh) I will need a t shirt and something on the legs to stop the mesh from scraping. Other than that it may get a bit hot and as Bale says "Claustrophobic" but just man up through it.
I will be taking the suit to Comicon expo next month in the UK, if I can persuade someone to come with me and be a minder then I will deffo go and get pics!

I emailed Selman asking about his possible Carbon Fibre inserts, also asked about the possibility of moulding some more straps.

Will let you know how I get on bro(y)cool

It may be worth your while to do some research into "Polypropylene Undersuits." Specifically, think of sports that require form-fitting suits, such as cycling, scuba, skiing, etc. Polypropylene will breath, wicking the moisture from your body, and should work quite well with the rubbing issue. Here's a start: Clothing at Pro-bike Yamaha and Suzuki Dealers, Newbury, Berkshire 01635 581500
