Hey guys, now that Halloween is getting closer, I thought I'd share some pictures of the Keymaster helmet I have just finished from Ghostbusters! Hope you'll like it!
It took a lot of months to source some of these, despite all of the infos we got on it! I also made the chinstrap myself. Made the logo on illustrator and printed on vegan leather, and assembled it with other pieces of leather I had found.

The Key Master helmet is great. Early 1300s saw kettle helmets forged out of pig iron..weighted 5 to 6lbs. It didnt have holes like this Collander...but the holes are useful to attach feathers into...or thimy jigies like you have. It also had a wide brim with a leather strap.
Doubt they had been leather in the 1300's.
An excellent result. Your children will one day thank you for helping them in creating their own creations. I do Viking knitting. Making torcs and armbands from ½ or ¹mm dia copper or silver wire...often I use 30 feet of wire...but not in silver...yet!. YouTube has a wealth of tutorials. Aliens only need to download YouTube...all our past present and future thoughts can be downloaded. Keep making stuff...show more. I'm a brand new member. I've found my niche here. The Silver brooch is not mine..I'm making something similar like the Archimedian Spiral of a brick upon or ontop of a Column. These inturn supported beams of thick timber or sandstone blocks. Beauty lies all around us...even in ancient Runes or Runic Calligraphy. I bought a neck piece yester from an amateur jeweler in the making. A section of a Lamb bone. Turned into an arrow head, burning a runic letter upon it.
I got him to autograph his selling card.

Welcome aboard! And thank you! The colander is the same one that they used for the movie. I assume for the same reasons you mentioned :). I had to drill a few more holes for some components but yeah prop makers in the 80s were upcycling a lot of things!
