I like it very much
I like it very much
i'd guess chavant nsp soft or super sculpey
I'm still working on the cleanup on the head then I plan to mold it to start work on the "buck" for the vacuuformed clear dome.
I'm sure we have discussed this before, but to make a nice big dome, I'd going to suggest (unless you have a commercial vacuum form machine) to do this either as a slump form or vacuum assisted slump.
Slump form is easy. You make a jig with a cutout to the exact size (externally) that you want the dome, then heat the plastic and let gravity take over. Once the plastic reaches a critical temperature, it will slump and form a beautiful dome with NO STRESS lines. You will need screw the plastic down to keep it flat around the rim.
Vacuum assisted adds suction to the mix, so you need to build a box bigger enough to hold the jig and again, wait for the plastic to slump, and hit the vacuum, It will help pull the dome and should give you even better vertical sides.
Pulling plastic over a buck works, but requires a BIG vacuum table with much more heat and a perfect seal to make it work. Especially at the height this will need to be.
This slump/vacuum assisted slump method will also allow you to use thicker plastic - up to 6mm clear Perspex.

Did you use a silicone putty for this?
