Thanks guys! All in all I've learned a lot for the next costume : Classic Spidey recreation. (also contemplating a light up Spidey stealth suit)
I'm glad this turned out well and appreciate all your comments! Hopefully going to Wondercon in Anaheim this April and entering in the masquerade.
And once I figure out real web shooters, I can go foil a bank robbery!

I re-did the eyes last night. Pulled the stitches, super glued them and pinned them in place, puff painted the edges to the fabric, then this morning I hand stitched them again using white thread. I think it looks better..

The back isn't perfect, but I dig it.

Got quite a bit of attention walking around town today.

Update!
Decided to make some webshooters to go along with the suit. Since I cant actually shoot webs, I figured id do the next best thing: flashy bright lights.
I used the electron gun from the cathode ray tube of an old tv i saw laying outside and some other stuff from around the house: couple washers, a red LED, a drywall anchor, some wire, a brass fitting, glue and a 9v
It's held in place beneath the glove by a magnet and the battery and activated with a homemade button that sits in the palm beneath the glove.
Now to make another!

This suit looks fantastic! You might consider a face shell to smooth your nose and hide the lips.

Thanks! I thought about it and when I have some money, I may get one/ make one. Looking at the pics again, I think it could make all the difference. For the most part, unless I'm smiling or talking, the lips tend to go unnoticed... However, it's hard not to smile walking around town as Spider-man haha.
