Hi, i just want to show my work in progess.
This is my second Maltese Falcon, first one was created only in clay by hand than casted and painted but i'am not a great sculpter. The second one is based on 3d printing (on makerbot) some parts are created by hand other printed, i'am happy that 3d printing technology could help me create parts that are tricky for me (but easy in 3d modeling program) Then i use car filler to finish some surfaces, after that spray putty and 10 or 15 layers of black mat paint. Polishing is the next step, i'am quite happy of details and i want to cast it in bronze or other metal.
It's not a perfect replica, really i scan lot of photos and model it by hand but could't achieve the perfect model, anyway i'am happy with this one and i think that i will stand on my desk until i want to create perfect one.
