My SDCC 2011 Pics

Hey!

Here some pics I took at SDCC 2011 (San Diego Comic Con).

I got the full comic con experience and LOVED every moment of it:

• Saw a Panel
• Couldn't get into a Panel I wanted to go to
• Got pushed aside by Comic Con Security to let a "star" (Hurley from Lost) go by
• Ran around the Gaslamp district for tickets to the premier of Cowboys and Aliens
• Took pictures of folks in costume
• Took goofy pictures at the AMC and Marvel booths
• Got tons of freebies
• Got a sketch from a comic artist
• Saw Stan Lee
• Got smooshed in a mob for comic con swag
• Couldn't buy a comic con exclusive because the fella in front of me bought the last six (why do you need six?! Freaking reseller)
• Hung out with fellow fans
• Was asked for money by a bum
• Waited in long lines
• Yelled at by Comic Con Security
• Bumped, bashed and bruised by the tsunami of fans on the convention floor
• Smelled the ripe aroma of fandom
• Stopped a guy trying to cut in line right in front of me (said he was alway there. my reply "um, dude I know who is in front of me. get out you freakin idiot")
• Had sore feet from walking all over the convention floor

The Stay Puft Marshmallow man. Drats!!!!!! There were guys giving money to people in line to buy them. Dealers didn't even hide the fact they had other people buying them and were loading them onto their dolleys in front of the Mattel booth. :angry

Yeah, it was the only item I was somewhat interested in...

Check Matty Collector's website in August. They are going to offer them up for sale in august. I was talking to a Matty employee about it, so be on the look out....I cant remember what day she said though....
