The first picture is a composite of the robots. The second is the actual shot. The backdrop sky was air brushed by me.

A fun shot of my 1:350 REFIT build in the "Worm hole" From Star Trek The Motion Picture.

My 18" Diameter HERO build of the Moebius Jupiter 2.
I took it outside to photograph and make sure everything worked!
The hull was air brushed a flat aluminum.
The exterior hatch was filled in and sanded smooth, per the filmining miniature.
A faux interior, complete with figures.
The kits supplied landing gear was thrown in the trash as this model represented the 4' hero miniature, and replaced with accurate gear.
The scanner in upper bubble and the mechanical rotating lights in the engine, rotate together at any speed I wish.
The lights in the lower engine are accurate to what was seen in the first season... six lights 60 degrees apart spin mechanically.
No lights in upper bubble as there were never lights in the original miniature.
