Me as Gambit.jpg

Also done with the PVA coating of the armors!

Tomorrow the painting starts (as long as it does not rain)! :)

Nicely done. I didnt know cosplay is big in the Phil.
How did you get the headgear done ? It fits well.

I didn't know that too, I only found out last September.
This is my first build, I only free handed that, no pep files, just based it on the pictures and lots of measuring my own head. haha.

I used a 2mm EVA foam.

I used what I learned in my technical drawing subject when I went to college. :)

Used a drawing board, T-square, tringles and a very useful french curve for the rounded parts. :)

THANK YOU! now i know how to do the boots for my spiderman noir! i was considering useing the 2mm EVA foam and wasnt sure how good it would look but your boots look awesome!

So you just slip it on? No tightening needed?

Your asking about the headgear bro?
the concept is using Velcro.

Would you guys want to know the secret in my forming method already? :)

As long as you give me the credit when you use my method. Ü

Well I really don't know if others have been doing it already. I just discovered it own my own! :)

Would really love to see that forming method!!

Looks amazing!!! love to give it a try
and give you all the credit of course! lol

Okay guys. The BIG secret is. Heat gun! That's it! XD Nothing special! really!

No vac forming, no special mixtures. I just used the heat gun to form the shape of the muscles in the chest piece.
I used a 4mm EVA foam. It's thin enough to be shaped easily yet it maintains its rigidity..

BTW, I didn't join or glue anything, it's only a piece of foam. looks like this:

Then I traced the muscle templates into this piece. Then formed the muscles by pushing using my thumb/fingers until I get the desired shape. :)
