In Star Trek - Nemesis, Captain Picard uses a device to manipulate data on his Padd, and has several of them on his desk. These can be seen when he speaks to Admiral Janeway in his Ready Room.

Here are some of the original props.

And here are two I put together. Decided to go 'elegant', and left out some of the decals I felt make them look too cumbersome.

I really would eventually like to stop buying altogether, but my mind just keeps on exploring "What can I buy / build next'' all by itself :darnkids

It would be nice if I could limit additions to say, one every month. But the 'missing' items list seems to be endless :wacko

This looks almost identical to a measuring jug I used to use in the cinema/movie theatre I worked in to measure when making the popcorn

That's what the Klingon cups are. They're industrial kitchen measuring cups. You can find them in cooking stores and online.

Your new display-shelf rocks Alan! And here we were all worried about you running out of display space. We should have known that you would have a trick or two up your sleeve. (After awhile you might have to start mounting things to the ceiling, but I have a feeling that's at least a couple of months away yet.) :lol Looks great man! :thumbsup

It was a Valentine's gift for the Mrs :lol

I felt it was being wasted just sitting in a drawer, she loves the Phantom of the Opera, so I had no worries 'borrowing' it (permanently) for my display lol:lol
