My Only Complaint About PREDATORS...

Right on, but then again, he was never more than cannonfodder. Which is a middle finger thrown in the face of great potential. That scene could have kicked ass, even if he had died anyway.

Yeah, I know. I wasn't even going to mention that the fight was reminescent of my brother and I rolling around on the ground, and fighting when we were like 5 years old. Oops... I mentioned it.

I'm not blaming the performers, but at the same time I was left with a lot of adrenaline (I don't remember a time at the movies where a scene did that to me) that I didn't know what to do with. Again, I think it was just a bad interpretation by the production.

You're right George, the director has the final say and is the one to determine the direction of the movie. I can't blame Brian Steele because he did a great job of bringing the Preds to life...especially when the Classic goes ******* crazy on the totem pole - thats still my favorite part of the movie.

I totally agree Rob - the roar should have been somewhat the same on the Classic. Considering that they put the original roar in the trailers for Mr Black...well I kinda feel cheated. I won't even mention the multiple lasers on Brody...thats another story. What bothered me about the way the Predators sounded in this movie was that Falconer sounded like a friggin Velociraptor from Jurassic Park! WTF?!

Honestly tho, I just hope that someone from FOX, or someone with directing power and input on the next movie is here watching and reading this thread. As a Predator fan-boy I am determined to voice my opinion on how the Predator should be portrayed...yes the director has final say, but without input from people like me, Rob, and all the other hardcores, this would be just another message board where words flow into the wind. I'd like to think that somewhere, someone is reading this saying, "hey this guy has a valid point - I should show this to XXXX so they can bring it up to the head honcho at XXXX who is currently working on the next Predator movie!" That would be cool. And its not like we're asking for a lot - just make the next Preds have that alien feel that Kevin Peter Hall and Ian Whyte gave us. Oh and if you could make them roar a little more like the original Preds, that'd be cool too :)

none of the whole "mis-step of movements" were more apparent for me than in the yakuza battle. Just the way the predator just kinda lumbered along made me think more of Godzilla vs. Mothra than a predator battle, ya know?

I totally agree with this post....I thought that the Bezerker and the falconer in particular did'nt have that creature like quality to their movement..
