I've got the walther P22 pistol(black) and the G22 rifle in OD. Both are fun to shoot. Try some wolf match target in the G22 and you'll be surprised how accurate it can be. For some reason the P22 pistol doesn't like the wolf match stuff. It grouped best with the high velocity Winchester stuff(superX).
I really like that .17 hm2 rifle. I am in the market for a bolt .17HMR at the moment. Going to go with the Marlin 917VR(bull barrel with scope mounts and black synthetic stock). Wallymart has them for about $187. Reviews had it grouping at about 3/4" at 100 yds with the Hornandy stuff. The ammo is more $$ than the HM2 but it is good out to 300yds for. Gonna get me one of those bullet drop compensation scopes made specifically for the .17HMR cartridge. Should be a tack driver.
Wow, that R22 is even legal in Kalistan. Might have to get my neighbor to order one for me(FFL holder).

i realy love the r22, and have many many rimfires in my collection.
for a semi auto the accuracy of mine is great so far, it is the bull barrel model {1"od} i have a cheap 6x 42mm scope on it now and zeroed it at 100 yds, using a bipod on the hood of my truck {and my elbow} i get a 5 shot grouping of 2" in center target with no flyers,
then for fun i moved to around 200yrds and fired 5 more. i got a 6" group then and was 10" low.
a 17 cal, 17 gram bullet going 2100 fps.
not bad from a semi rimfire. i am sure it would be tighter in a bench rest and i know it aint meant to shoot 200 yrds but it is impressive.
i am going to get a good 3x9 - 50mm scope soon.
call them and talk to Thomas, he is the inventor / machinest, a realy helpfull guy, we spoke several times over the two months i had my two ordered while they got the next run of them out.
a note : they only recommend useing the standard Ruger 10/22 10 round clip in the 17 cal, because of the small bullet diameter they feed crappy with the curved 25 and 30 rnd clips.
with over 200 rnds through mine i have had 100% feed and firing on a single 10 rnd mag.
the older teardrop 30 round clips may work better. i am going to get one soon.
oh , this baby is all machined and heavy , no stamped metal or plastic {except the stock and grip} and weighs an easy 8 lbs
grip and internal parts { hammer, saftey, trigger etc} are ar-15 parts , the bolt is from a Ruger 10-22.
