So I was wondering around Kmart the other day and I found this:
And since my Pulse Rifle and VP 70 have just been laying under the bottom of my display for the last 2 years I was very excited to finally find a simple way to display them. ($4.99)
I wasn't sure that the pegboard would support the weight of the PR so I whipped up some extra 3/4" plywood I had left over from another project and spray painted it black. I drilled pilot holes and mounted it directly to the wall studs.
(Man do we need to clean that part of the house.... :$ )
I screwed in a couple of all purpose hooks, spraypainted black and added a couple of peg board clips also painted black ($1.29, 2 @ .79), added the great plaques I picked up off a board member here http://www.therpf.com/index.php?showtopic=116993&hl=
and whooolah:
There are a few things I need to tweak, mainly leveling out the PR, but for $7.80 I am real happy and best of all, I got my $900 worth of props off the floor.
